****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves.com 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 surfing holiday island destination of Bali.
First off, this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing another little bump in wave height with chest to over head waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. With the early morning high tide the best waves were hitting Kuta Reef in the chest to head high class and even a couple of bigger freak sets every now and again.
As today’s photos tell, we made our way down to Bingin for the lower end of the tide (0.6mtrs @ 3.00PM). Our first glimpse was of chest to over head waves breaking at Bingin and also at Impossible’s. Good clean off-shore wind and the tide almost just right for it. By 12.00 noon there would have been around 20 surfers riding the almost mechanical left hander at Bingin. There was also no shortage of surfers at Impossible’s riding all sorts of assorted surf craft. I think it would have been a safe call to say that Uluwatu would have easily have been in the head to double head high class.
Weather wise. it ceratinly was a hot one down at Bingin today. Even sitting under the shade of one of the aspestis roofed cafes the temperature would have been up around the 34 degree Celsius mark.
This mornings sms text surf report from the guys at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling head to double head high plus waves hitting the Launching Pad. High Tide and clean surfing conditions for a total of 2 surfers in the water ! I’ve also just picked up a disk of photos from the crew at G-Land and I’ll get those loaded up shortly. Could be an excellent time to catch a few un crowded waves over in G-Land.
