****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the very latest news on surfing and weather information here on your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was only just indicating the slightest improvement in wave height, with 1-2 waves showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. We were counting on wave height to continue building through out the morning so we hit the road for Uluwatu. Our first glimpse of Ulu was only of 2-3ft very full waves, but the tide was still pretty full and we were still hoping for the pulse to start to show.
As the tide did start to run out the set waves and consistency got bigger and better. Still only showing in the 2-4ft+ region. We had to get one of the guys to the airport so we couldn’t stick around for the afternoon low tide and possible Racetrack tube session. Coming home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s, Padang x 2 was virtually flat and Impossible’s was lucky to have had the odd waist high wave. But hopefully we might even see a few slightly bigger waves again tomorrow.
Surfing conditions today have been perfect here along Bali’s West Coast with the wind coming out of the East at 8 – 12knot.
Tidal info for today had a 1.8mtr High @ 8.00AM and then running out for a 0.6mtr Low around the 2.30PM mark.
Weather wise it’s been mainly hot and sunny here along the south west coast with a maximum temperature of at least 32 degree’s Celsius.
