****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (since ’99) for our 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for surfing holiday dollar tropical holiday island of Bali.
Ok so we are finally getting back to basic’s again. Today we have a huge photo gallery to show you just a taste of what we have on offer most days here in Bali. The second half of the gallery is courtesy from our friends in surf photography at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a little more size with waist to chest high plus waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Kuta Reef had some perfect little micro sized waves bending down the reef in the knee to waist high class. Middle Reef had a solid crew on it but was breaking better in the waist to chest high range. Airport left also had plenty of punters out there with wave height in the waist to waist high plus region.
As it says on photo No.1 Ketut made the early morning run up to Canggu arriving on the scene at 8.30AM. As ya’s can see there was still plenty of waves breaking on the left hand sandbar and on the right hand river mouth sections. Conditions were clean and glassy through until 9.45AM when the ESE – SE Tradewind kicked in and took the gloss off the waves.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 1.6mtr High @ 6.00AM and then running out for a 0.6mtr Low around the 12.30PM mark. The next moon phase is going to be a Full Moon rising on the 21st of this month.
Weather wise out there it’s clear sailing with blue sky and sunshine. Heading for another scorcher along the beach with a top temperature of between 32 – 34 degree’s celsius.,
Looking for a wave this morning, well apart from the locations we have already talked about I’m sure you could find a few waist the chest high waves at Balangan and of course Uluwatu would be where the action is.
Wave height should get a little better towards this afternoon and tomorrow hopefully we’ll be back into some solid waves on the more open locations around the southern end of the island.
Don’t forget if anyone is interested in doing some effective advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (baliwaves.com) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month.
