****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (since ’99) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always “in-season” holiday island of Bali.
Good news for everyone currently here in Bali with this mornings 7.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs showing wave height back up into the head to well over head range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. With the tide still running out for a 0.6mtr Low scheduled for around 10.00AM there wasn’t quite enough water over the reef on Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But Middle Reef being at it’s best through the lower end of the tide was producing some good looking waves in the head to well over head sector with at least 1 dozen surfers already on it.
Looks like we are in for a top day of surfing here along Bali’s West Coast with the wind already coming lightly out of the E-NE and off-shore between Canggu and Uluwatu. Speaking of Uluwatu I’m sure wave height down at Bali’s Premier surfing location would at least be hitting the double head high range.
If you can, try and get down to Half Way along Kuta beach today for the final rounds of the Rip Curl surfing contest. This contest is going to decide this years Indonesian champion and with a close gap between 1st and 2nd places the action is going to be intense.
Weather wise for a Sunday it couldn’t get any better. Plenty of blue sky with just the odd cloud drifted over and heading for a maximum temperature of between 31 – 33 degree’s Celsius along the beach.
The next High tide will be 1.7mtrs @ 4.00PM
Ok crew I’m going to keep it short and sweet and get my camera gear ready. So if your around this afternoon check in to the baliwaves.com for a look at what’s been happening here in Bali today.
Don’t forget if anyone is interested in doing some effective advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (baliwaves.com) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month. Try us out and you’ll see for yourself, we can help promote your business.
If any of you out there are already here in Bali maybe now is a good time to try some Balinese style sport fishing. There’s been some solid schools of GT’s and Tuna busting up the surface and Spanish Mackerel jumping. If your up to it just contact me and I’ll hook you up with the best fishermen in Bali.
