****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
The news received of Andy Irons death this morning I’m sure was a total shock to our surfing world, our deepest sympathies go out to the Irons family and Andy’s close friends.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a very weak and feeble looking knee to knee high plus wave breaking on Airport Left with a solid contingency of Japanese surfers. Nothing at all breaking on Kuta or Middle Reefs on this mornings high tide.
Ketut has phoned in from Canggu this morning and reckons there are waist to chest high plus waves breaking on the sand bar and river mouth sections. Ketut’s up there with the camera equipment so we’ll have some fresh photos up for you later this afternoon.
Sms surf report from our friends down at Uluwatu was calling wave height on the Main Peak this morning in the waist to chest high region (2-2ft+).
Surfing conditions this morning were clean and glassy without a breath of wind, only now at 10.00PM is it starting to show. Coming lightly out of the S – SSE @ 1-2knot.
Tidal info for today had a 1.7mtr High @ 8.00AM and then running back in for a 0.7mtr Low around 2.00PM
Weather wise the day started off with more early AM heavy rain that lasted until around 6.00AM. Since then the clouds have parted and we have a mainly hot and sunny day for the beach lovers. Heading for a maximum temperature of around 29 – 31 degree’s Celsius.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Legian you’ll find that; — 1US$=Rp8,890 — 1AU$=Rp8,770 —
Special accommodation / surfing package available for the month of November.

We’ve all heard by now about the recent Tsunami that hit some of the Mentawai islands including the Macaronis Surf Resort (check out their website for more news from Maca’s). Most of the people affected were doing it tough enough with out the added disaster of being engulfed by a Tsunami in the middle of the night. A big thanks to the surf charter boats who imedietly started taking relief supplies into the affected areas. But in order to help, it all takes money, and that’s where the good people at Surf Aid International come in.
To find out how you guys can help check out their website www.surfaidinternational.org
Surf Aid International has been officaially appointed relief coordinators by the Indonesian Government.
Surf Report Archives; You know if you look above the photos on this report you will see Bali listed with the other surf report locations.
