****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (since ’99) for the run down on whats been happening surf and weather wise here on the always in – season holiday island destination of Bali.
Well I can say there hasn’t been too much happening surf wise over the last couple of days. Not totally flat but pretty small and with some bad weather to make it worse. This morning though there was a slight pulse in size showing so we took a run down to Uluwatu for a look at what was going down. Arriving just as the tide was starting to push back in and wave height a fun sized 2-3ft. Surfing conditions were mainly clean and glassy with only a slight touch on cross – shore wind. As the tide passed the midway mark there was the occasional 4 footer hitting the Main Peak. Crowd wise there would have been around 50 spread between Temple’s and the Racetrack. We also had a glimpse at Impossible’s Reef and it was virtually flat all the way down to Bingin.
Surf report from Balian this morning courtesy of “Ayu’s Warung and Homestay” located over looking the surf and still the best place to hang out if your up that way was saying that surfing conditions were clean and glassy with small waves in the waist to waist high plus sector. Should improve with the incoming tide later in the morning.
Hopefully wave height will improve a little more tomorrow and then if everything stays on track Sunday and Monday should see some nice waves somewhere on this island.
Tidal info for today had a 0.2mtr Low scheduled for 7.30AM and then running back up for a 1.9mtr High around 1.00PM.
Weather wise it was a mainly overcast day down on the bukit this morning but has cleared up for a mainly sunny afternoon here in Tuban. Temperature wise it would have peaked between 29 – 31 degree’s Celsius.
