****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi folks and welcome to the weekend on the baliwaves.com (since ’99) for a look at what we’ve been up to today here on your best bet holiday destination for surf, sun and fun.
Once again this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs had wave height down to a meager half to one and a half feet on the sets between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. We would have been laughing if there was a bit of swell out there as with no wind at all conditions were perfect for a morning paddle. Maybe there was a smallie or two for the crew up at Canggu and down at Uluwatu.
But as you can see in todays photo gallery we put in a just a little more effort and made the run up to Keramas. Wave height was a fun sized waist to chest high plus and surfing conditions were clean as silk. There were 8 other surfers already in the water at 8.00AM. It wasn’t until 9.30 – 10.00AM that the wind did pick up from the South for a light cross-shore in the 4-7knot class. By 12 noon there was only 2 surfers in the water and there were still waves to be had but with the tide starting to get lower.
Tidal info for today had a 1.7mtr High @ 9.00AM and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low around 2.30PM.
Weather wise today we’ve had nothing but pure holiday weather, blue sky and sunshine with the top temperature ranging between 31 – 34 degree’s Celsius.
Ok call in again tomorrow for our Sunday Session and we hope ya’s have a surf filled weekend, where ever you are.
