****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello folks and thanks for checking into the baliwaves.com for another holiday (my) up date on surfing and weather conditions from everybody’s favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well as you have already seen in these latest photos that Ketut has sent over to me wave height has been slowly backing off, currently down into the waist to head high range at Keramas over on Bali’s East Coast. Surfing conditions have been clean and glassy with the wind light and variable. On average over the last couple of days the number of surfers in the water has been around 15 plus or minus.
Early morning surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs of Tuban have also been clean and glassy with the light wind, but unfortunately wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left is struggling at knee to knee high plus.
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny for the lucky ones over there at the moment. Temperature wise the mercury has been hovering around 34 degree Celsius mark.
Just for the record here at Newcastle (Australia) beach wave height is rolling through in the waist to chest high plus region. Crystal clear water (refreshing) with the wind light on shore out of the NE @ 6-9knot. Hot to very hot temperatures in the mid 30’s+.
Ok then Ketut is out on location as your reading this so as soon as the new photos arrive I’ll have them on line pronto ! We did have a few bugs to sort out but now fingers crossed, have got everything under control.
Best Regards from Australia
Slim
