****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Welcome aboard the baliwaves.com (’99) for today’s 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions from the friendliest little tropical holiday island of Bali.
Ok Ketut has done it again for us by taking another run up to Keramas yesterday and shooting some more photos. And it was looking the goods with consistent waves hitting the shelf in the chest to well over head range. Clean and glassy surfing conditions from early morning through until late morning with a crowd ranging from 10 to 15 or so surfers in the water.
From Ketut’s info he’s passed on to me I’d also have to imagine that there would have also been plenty of waves at most other locations along the east Coast, hence the low numbers in the water.
Ketut’s surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing small waves in the knee to waist high plus sector breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Weather wise there’s still a lot of cloud about and the odd drop of rain in the Kuta area.
Tidal info for Bali today has a 0.3mtr Low @ 8.00AM and then running in for another solid 2.4mtr High around the 2.00PM mark.
Here in Newcastle this morning it’s a mainly sunny sky with the wind coming out of the South at 8 – 12knot. Wave height is a messy chest to head high plus.
