****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (’99) for today’s quick run down on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always surfer friendly little holiday island of Bali.
This morning we got off to a bit of a late start but I still managed a 7.30AM surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height was still packing a punch at head to double head high plus on some of the bigger set waves between Kuta Reef down to Airport Left. The ESE – SE off shore Tradewind kicked in around 8.45AM and has been fanning the waves all day.
I also heard a report of good waves over on the East Coast the last couple of days with Serangan was also delivering the goods early this morning with wave height in the double head high sector.
This mornings sms text surf report from the crew over at the G-Land Surf Camp was reporting wave height coming through in the solid double head high range at Kongs down to the top end of Money Tree’s. Two surfers in the water on Money’s at 8.50AM Bali time.
Tidal info for today had us down for a solid 2.6mtr High @ 11.00AM and then drianing off for a 0.1mtr reef exposing Low @ 5.00PM.
Weather wise it’s been mainly hot and sunny with the odd cloud. Temperature wise it would have easily been 33 degree’s Celsius and currently now at 6.35PM it is justĀ starting to cool off back to 29 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is coming straight out of the East @ 15km’s
Ok folks there should still be some more waves on the cards for the lucky one’s already over here in Bali. So stay tuned and we’ll see what we find out there tomorrow.
We’ve also got some new surfing / accommodation packages sorted out for those of you who want nothing more to think about except surfing, at the right place at the right time. Hit this info link to find out more.
Good news for any of you that want to get over to the legendary location of G-Land this year as baliwaves.com will still be dishing out a solid 15% discount off their advertised prices for the G-Land Surf Camp. All camps at G-Land will be re opening in March 2011 so if you want some un crowded G-Land get in early. Make sure you contact us first if you want that 15% rebate back in your pocket.
We’ve also been playing around with our “Surf Spots” page where we are currently up-dating with more locations, and an extra bonus of Bali street maps. So go and get yourself lost in there !
