****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (’99) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best surfing holiday destination to escape those winter chills, Bali.
Well this morning as I feared yesterday our new swell seems to have peaked over night. Don’t get me wrong there are still plenty of waves happening all the same. My crew opted for a paddle out at Kuta Reef this morning where there are some clean head to over head sized set waves peeling off. Middle Reef was picking up some bigger waves as usual, more like head to double head high. While Airport Left was looking the quitest with shoulder to head high plus waves. With surfing conditions clean and glassy, the wind is light and variable once again, coming mainly from the North. There might even be a few fun sized waves on the other side of the airport runway on Airport Right.
I also had a phone through surf report from some friends who were hunting waves over on the East Coast of Bali. Their first surf check was at Keramas, wave height was only in the waist to head high plus class. Clean and glassy little waves but a little bit wobbly. There would still be plenty of swell down on the southern end of the island and when / if the wind does dedicate to the ESE – SEĀ (Tradewind) it will be going off.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 1.7mtr High @ 7.00AM and then running out for a 1.0mtr Low around the 1.00PM mark.
Weather wise we have a part cloudy partly sunny day shaping up outside. @ 9.00AM we had an outside temperature of 27 degree;s Celsius and Humidity level of 72%. The wind was light and variable mainly out of the Northern quadrant.
Swell predictions for the coming week are looking pretty much like non stop waves so if your not getting on a plane to Bali you had better stay tuned to the next best thing, baliwaves.com
