****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves (’99) for the very latest and greatest on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the friendly little holiday island that’s riddled with World class waves.
This morning’s 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some solid size rocking through in the over head to double head high plus plus range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There were even some big bombs breaking way out in the middle of Legian Bay (Kerang Tengah). I didn’t see any surfers on Airport left with the channel pretty well closed out, nor at Middle Reef. But there was around 15 surfers already in the line up on Kuta Reef. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy at the time with the wind out of the NE @ 1-3kms.
But as you may, or may not have, finished flicking through today’s insane 118 strong photo gallery from the Balinese Pipeline, Padang Padang. There were so many deep and sik sik barrels ridden this morning it wasn’t funny. Even though it wasn’t premium Padang Padang it was still pretty good for the 28 surfers and body boarders that were in the water. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming pretty much out of the East @ 4-9kms.
Tidal info for today had us down for a 1.1mtr Low @ 10.30AM and then only just running back in with a 1.8mtr High around the 4.00PM mark.
Weather wise it was pretty warm down tucked under the cliff at Padang Padang and over all it’s just been another typical hot and sunny day here on Bali. Temperature wise right now at 3.30PM it is 30 degree’s Celsius with the wind coming out of the East @ 15kms.
The latest news from G-Land thanks to our friends at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to be hitting Money Tree’s down to the Pad in the over over head to double head high plus range. Good clean conditions and a good chance for a few Speedy’s barrels when the tide gets lower. No one surfing at 7.00AM East Java time.
