****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (’99) for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from the only place to spend your next surfing holiday at, Bali.
This mornings early surf check of the Outer reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height in the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. At 6.45AM there was no wind and surfing conditions were clean and glassy. I’m sure there would have been some good waves out there today as well.
By the time we had breakfast and arrived on location at Bali’s Premier wave venue of Uluwatu wave height was coming through in the solid head to double head high plus class. The tide was almost on the top of a massive 2.5mtr High so we knew it was going to get a whole lot better right through the out going end. Both the Main Peak and Temple sections had some solid set waves on offer with clean and glassy conditions.
As the tide did start to get lower the Racetrack was producing some sik tube rides but also as the tide went down and sun started to dip a bit lower the number of surfers spread from the Peak down through the Racetrack was around 60-70 strong. Anyway we hope you enjoy today’s (60+) photo gallery from down at Ulu today. There should be still some swell around for us tomorrow, so stay tuned as we’ll more than likely be moving to a different location again.
Weather wise today it’s been another typical hot and sunny day for us with the temperature peaking between 31-33 degree’s Celsius.
