****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello to everyone tuning into the baliwaves (’99) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the with out a doubt best value surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so as I mentioned already in this mornings twitter report our early morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off a touch. But still breaking in the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming out of the NNE @ 2-4kms.
The tide was also hitting a 2.1mtr High @ 7.00AM so with all the conditions right Ketut grabbed the camera equipment and headed for Canggu. As you can see in today’s 56 strong photo gallery Ketut nailed some nice shots while the perfect conditions lasted. Around 20 surfers were sitting on the right hander and another 10-15 surfers riding the left hand sand bar. It wasn’t until 10.15AM that the ESE-SE Tradewind started to kick in turning it ugly.
Tomorrow the charts are calling for smaller waves again but still we should be able to find something out there. Not too worry anyway, as we should start to see the begining of some fresh waves sometime Tuesday, then non stop action for the rest of the week.
Today’s Low tide was 0.8mtrs @ 1.00PM
Weather wise it’s just rolling on with more sunshine, just the odd cloud drifting rapidy over from time to time. Currently right now @ 4.30PM the outside temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity on 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE @ 19kms.
