****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi crew and thanks again for tuning into the baliwaves (’99) for today’s “1 click” run down on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the island of non stop perfect waves, Bali.
This mornings surf recon on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to have continue it’s downward trend into the waist to head high class (Kuta Reef to Airport Left). There was the occasional slight bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef. Surfing conditions at 6.15AM were clean enough for a paddle but not optimum with the wind coming out of the NNE @ 3-6knot.
Hence, as it shows in today’s photo gallery the best surfing conditions and waves were to be had up at Canggu. We arrived just as the sun was rising to find wave height a consistent 3-4ft (head to well over head high) and clean off shore wind. Only 4 other surfers in the water riding the right hand river mouth. And really it didn’t get too much more busier than that. At the peak of today’s crowd there were 9 surfers on the right hander, 9 surfers on the left hand sand bar and another 3 riders down on the left hand reef. Not bad hey, who say’s Bali is too crowded ?
Surfing conditions remained clean and tidy right through until the whistle blew ending the last of the high tide around 10.00AM
Today’s G-Land surf report thanks to the good people at the G-land Surf Camp was calling wave height to be still hitting the legendary left hand reef break in the solid 5-6ft region. With a little more West than South in the swell direction the best waves were on the bottom end of Kong’s to the top end of Money Tree’s. No surfers in the water @ 8.15AM East Java time. The latest news is that numbers at G-Land are way down than normal. So if your interested in visiting this awesome location drop us a line here at baliwaves.com and we’ll get you a solid discount for the G-Land Surf Camp.
Weather wise today in Bali there was some early morning cloud but more or less just another perfect day to be on holidays, blue sky in abundance. Temperature wise right now @ 1.30PM has the temperature on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity on 63% and the wind out of the East @ 6-8knot.
