****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (’99) for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the only place that your not going to get skunked on a surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok it’s been a long long day, especially for a Sunday so I’ll make this as simple as possible. First of all our mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be down into the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with only a breath of wind (6.30AM) coming out of the North.
So just for something different and maybe of getting my crew some un crowded waves we set off back over to the East Coast to Serangan (the last bunch of photos in today’s 92 strong gallery). By the time we made it across to the other side of the island the wind was just starting to pick up and even turning a little more to the NW. But even so the numbers were right with only half a handful of surfers in the water. Wave height over at Serangan was getting up into the solid double to double head high plus sector.
From there I knew the boys weren’t totally satisfied so we jumped back into the car and headed South to Uluwatu. Ulu was cranking, from some long cylindrical tubes up at Temples and solid Main Peak and then more perfect tubes down along the Racetrack as the tide was running down, cranking. I’ll just let the photos do the talking, thanks for tuning in and we’ll be back out there for another session somewhere in Bali again tomorrow.
Typically Bali weather today, just hot and sunny from start to finish.
