****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for tunning into the baliwaves (’99) again today for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on every sane surfers favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing some nice enough sized waves between Kuta Reef and Airport left. A fairly consistent 2-4ft or waist to well over head with Middle Reef again lining up the best with the morning Low tide. Surfing conditions were already testy with the SE Tradewind already cranked up into the 15-18knot class, and expected to get stronger through out the day.
Looking for a wave today the best options are going to be under the relative protection of the cliffs down on the Southern end of the island. The wind is going to be too strong on the Outers by the time the tide fills back in. The beach breaks down along the Kuta to Legian stretch of snad could be also worth a visit on the higher end of the tide.
In the mean time our friends from “ESP” on location down at Julies Warung at the mechanical wave of Bingin have dropped us off another photo gallery, captured yesterday afternoon on the lower end of the tide. You can find these little gems located in our Readers Report page.
Weather wise this morning the sky is all cloudy and grey with a gusty off shore wind. Temperature wise right now @ 9.00AM the outside temperature is sitting on 26 degree’s Celsius and should peak around 29 C by midday. Outlook for today would be overcast morning weather then starting to break up with sunny patches by early afternoon. Wind is currently SE @ 15-18knot.
If there’s any changes through out the day I’ll keep ya’s up to date through our mobile Twitter up reports.
