****LATE AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves ’99 for today’s latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the with out a doubt best value for surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Ok so like I mentioned in this mornings twitter up dates we were down on location at the mechanical left hand tube machine wave of Bingin. When we arrived at 7.00AM there was only 5 other surfers in the water with wave height in the head to well over head class. So with the wind blowing clean off shore out of the SE @ 3-6knt and the tide still running out things were looking real good. And it did only get better towards the bottom of the tide and by then there were only 4 other surfers in the water. Surfing conditions stayed clean and true with the SE Tradewind steadily increasing through out the day. As the tide past through the low and started to push back in and we were packing up, the number of surfers jumped into the 20’s.
We finally got the first Padang Padang photo installment ready for you, it’s a massive collection of over 300 photos. And we are dumping 100 at a time on baliwaves in the Readers Report page. All courtesy from our good friends at Hendra Surf Photography based at Uluwatu.
Tomorrow I won’t know where we’ll be surfing at until after I take my mandatory morning surf check, for swell and wind of course. But rest assured we will be hitting the road for somewhere in the morning so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report.
Weather wise today it started off a little grey and cloudy but as soon as the off shore SE wind started kicking in it was all blue sky and sunshine. There has been more cloud moving over late this afternoon and maybe even chance of a drop or two of rain later tonight.
