****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and though it’s Friday and your getting ready to shut down for the weekend. I’m glad you have still found time to drop by the baliwaves ’99 to see what’s going down surf and weather wise, here on everybodies favorite surfing holiday island of Bali.
Well today it’s kinda like a rest day before the swell starts to roll in tomorrow (fingers crossed). This mornings 7.00Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a slight bump in wave height, but still only in the knee to waist high plus sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time surfing conditions were reasonably clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly out of the WNW @ 1-3knot. There were a few riders out on Middle Reef which was picking up the bigger sets, but not a lot happening on Kuta Reef or at Airports. Now @ 12.00 noon the wind is more straight West and increased into the 10knt range. So looking for a wave the East Coast would be the best place to start your search with the best bet being Geger Beach / Nusa Dua.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 2.1mtr High @ 11.30AM and then running out for an afternoon Low of 0.3mtrs around the 5.00PM mark.
Weather wise here on the holiday island we have blus sky and sunshine for the sun worshippers with the midday temperature sitting on a warm 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is 70%. Sunrise was at 5.59AM and will set at 6.13PM.
Not much else to tell at this stage, just treading water so to speak and waiting for our next swell to arrive. Stay tuned over the weekend and we’ll keep you up to date with the most accurate Bali information your going to find.
