****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves ’99 for the absolute latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions, plus plus from right here on the always “in season” surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This morning I didn’t get a chance for an eye ball on the Outer Reefs, due to a moderate night of helping celebrate one of my friends birthday (Happy Birthday Lewie). But we did settle on heading back up to Canggu to score some more of the left handers on the sandbar and to catch the womens final heats of the Oakley World Pro Junior.
As it shows in today’s 88 strong photo gallery Canggu once again turned it on for the international surfing contest with wave height coming through well over head high on the bigger set waves. It’s been another long day for me today so I’ll just let the photos do the talking. Congratulations go out to Hawaii’s Coco Ho putting on a solid and very consistent performance to take home the money. But over all the quality of surfing that I’ve seen over the last two days of the Oakley Pro Junior has been excepionally high, from both boys and girls.
I’ll be back here again tomorrow and hopefully we’ll have some more photos of the boys finals to show ya’s. have a good one and make sure you stay tuned to Bali’s first and foremost original Bali surf report, baliwaves.com.
