****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for cruising by the baliwaves ’99 for the latest on surfing and weather conditons here on everybodies favorite surfing holiday location of Bali.
Well it’s been a very cruisy type day for me too to tell ya’s the truth. My 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to be still holding, if anthying slighty bigger than Saturday. The tide was just about on the bottom of a 0.1mtr Low. Then combined with over head to tripple head high waves there was time to see what the incoming tide would produce on Kuta Reef. Middle Reef had the biggest waves and I did see a few tripple head high waves peel off with no one on them. Wave height should taper off a little through the late afternoon before we get another swell showing by midday Monday, plus or minus.
Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with an early morning light off shore wind out of the SE that has remained all day, and increasing in strength.
Today’s High Tide happened to be 2.00mtrs @ 1.00PM.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny Sunday with the a couple of scattered patches of cloud. Temperature wise the mercury peaked at 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidy of 74%.
Today’s photo gallery was dropped off late last night from our friends at ESP who are located at “Julies Warung” down on Bingin Beach. Looked pretty good yesterday and I’m sure there would have been a few more down there again today.
So tomorrow’s another day and just another swell, I’m not sure where we’ll be heading until I do the morning check on the Outers. But this new system has a slightly different angle of approach so it could be interesting.
