****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves ’99 for the run down on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the something for everyone holiday island of surf, sun and fun, Bali.
Well as you can see in today’s gallery we took the highway west (4.50AM) again and headed for Balian. Know perfectly well that it was going to be pretty well tiny today and that we wouldn’t be the only surfers on that highway doing the same thing. So we weren’t shocked to see around 25 surfers in the water at just after sun rise. But there were still some nice shaped left and right handers peeling off on the river mouth. Some nice little rights further down the beach weren’t bad either. Average wave height would have been in the waist to head high sector with the very occassional slightly bigger set wave. The crowd would have peaked at close to 50 but by the time the wind started to swing to the SE backing down to around 25-30 in the water.
Tidal info for today had a 1.9mtr High @ 9.00AM and then running out for a 0.5mtr Low around the 3.00PM mark. The next Moon Phase will see a New Moon rising tomorrow night.
Weather wise today there was a little cloud about at first light but then pretty well turned out to be another very hot and sunny day. Currently right now @ 3.00Pm the outside temperate is sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 38%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE @ 12-15knt+
That’s about all I’ve got left in me after dealing with the driving on that crazy highway full of demonic truck and bus drivers. So I’ll catch ya’s again tomorrow.
