Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves, Bali’s first and premier surfing and weather information website, since ’99. And still delivering the goods today from right here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so Tuesday we decided after an early morning surf check on the Outer Reefs had wave height down in the 2-3ft range (waist to head high) between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. That we would just cruise down to Balangan here on Bali’s West Coast to catch some clean and un crowded waves. So arriving at 7.30AM just as the tide was starting to run out to find exactly what we had planned on, waist to head high plus waves with clean and glassy surfing conditions. The numbers were also perfect with only 6 other surfers in the water. Conditions stayed pretty good through until 11.00AM when the wind started to pick up out of the SW, and also by this time the “learn to surf” Kamakazi’s on mini mals started to turn up in numbers and game over.
This morning the 23rd and it’s still not quite light enough for a surf check but there is no wind present just yet at 5.30AM. So I think we might take a run up to Canggu around 7.00AM to see whats cooking. So call in later this afternoon and we should have another fresh photo gallery on line for ya’s.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning (pending Huey), see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost. Hit this info link to find out more. Limited space, so get in early or you’ll be doing it the hard way.
We also have 4 “Home Stay” type rooms available for any of our viewers looking for some clean and tidy accommodation here in Tuban. All rooms are air conditioned with hot and cold water shower, cable TV, including breakfast for Rp200,000 per night, or Rp300,000 for couples . Surfers need to apply.
Feel free to contact us via email about your next trip to Bali and we might just be able to help make it run a little smoother for you.
Best Regards from Bali
