****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves ’99 for the latest and greatest on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the “best of the best” tropical holiday island destinations of Bali.
Well yes, there has been some good waves and good weather happening over here the last couple of days. This mornings 7.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing wave height breaking in the waist to over head range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running out at the time so Middle Reef was the best option and picking up a little more size. As the tide starts to run back in towards midday there should also be a few fun sized waves on Kuta Reef and at Airports.
Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the North at 1knot. But has since swung to the East, blowing straight off shore between Kuta Reef and Uluwatu.
Tidal info for today had a 0.5mtr Low @ 9.00AM and then running back in for a 1.8mtr High around the 3.30PM mark.
Weather wise outside it’s another nice one coming on here on the holiday island. Currently right now at 10.55AM the outside temperature is sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius and Humidity level of 75%. Wind direction is East @ 3-6knot. Today’s sunrise was @ 5.48AM and will set @ 6.19PM.
And as we can see in today’s 69 strong photo gallery, thanks to our friends at Hendra Surf Photography that Uluwatu has also been smoking through some nice waves. I imagine it would have been on again down there this morning and possibly a few sly ones at Bingin.
Our swell charts for Bali are still looking positive for some fairly consistant waves with the next installment in transit and scheduled to arrive on our reefs on Sunday morning.
