Hello surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves ’99 for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island destination of Bali.
Ok as I mentioned the yesterday via our twitter up dates my family and I were out visiting our mountain side village for an important temple ceremony. It was a big day for us leaving at 7Am and not getting back home until 7PM. But it’s always good to catch up with family and friends. I did manage to shoot a few photos from the journey and I’ll take a look at those later when we get back from Balian this afternoon.
While we were on the road my off sider Ketut took the camera equipment for a run down South to Uluwatu. There still wasn’t a lot happening down there surf wise but at least it was a little bigger than the previous 2 weeks of hardly anything. The swell forecasters have called a little more improvement in size for today and tomorrow so hopefully we’ll see some better waves.
Tidal information for today has us down for a 1.9mtr High @ 10.00AM and then running out for a 0.6mtr Low around the 4.00PM mark. Today we will have a Full Moon rising so bigger tidal differances over the next few days.
Weather wise this morning at 7.30Am the outside temperature is sitting on 25 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity level at 94%. Wind direction is coming out of the South West at 1knot. Sunrise was at 5.48AM and will set at 6.17PM. Cloudy and overcast with a big chance of more rain and some evening thunder storms.
Ok that’s just to bring us back up to date for now, have a good one what ever you’ve got happening today and I’ll be back later on with some more. Stay tuned via twitter as I’ll be sending through more reports through out our travels today.
