****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hi crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves to see what’s been happening here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so with wave height looking to be backing off a touch here on the Outer Reefs, still waist to chest high between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. We decided on taking a run down to Uluwatu to catch the in coming tide. Early morning surfing conditions were perfect with just the faint smell of an off shore wind. That’s how it was at Ulu as well, for at least 30 minutes.
There were still a few waves running down through the Racetrack section in the waist to chest high plus range. The Main Peak was just starting to get some shape and Temple’s was showing some promise with a little bit more tide. But… that’s when the wind swung to the WSW and messed it all up. Crowd wise down at Ulu I reckon there would have been lucky to have had 25 surfers in the water.
This morning the 1st of December and it’s shaping up for another hot day at the beach here in Bali. I reckon there might still be a wave or two out there this morning, the wind is light off shore out of the East at the moment. I’ll get down there for a check shortly and get back to ya’s again later this afternoon, so until then have a good one !
Tidal info for today has us down for an early morning 0.2mtr Low around 8.00AM and then running back up for a 1.9mtr High at 2.30PM.
Weather wise and currently right now at 9.15AM the outside temperature is a warm 30 degree’s Celsius with the wind East @ 4-7knot. Sunrise was @ 5.50AM and will set @ 6.25PM.
But what’s in it for me, you might ask, well besides baliwaves.com continuing to provide (even) higher quality photos for everyone and possibly truck loads of video clips (7D). I’m even giving you the chance to pick up a brand new (never ridden) 6′ 7″ custom made DIVERSE surfboard that can be collected here in Bali. This board is valued at over AU$700.00 Plus a couple of other nice little gifts as well (G-Land trip / Bali accommodation). Hit this link for the details.
