****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves again for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Our day got under way pretty much the same as yesterday with a mainly blue sky and wind direction coming out of the West. There was no chance we were heading back to Serangan and compete for space with the surf schools, especially with wave height on the downward trend. So we pushed on past Sanur back to “Secrets” to find wave height in the waist to head high region with the added bonus of a very occasional slightly bigger freak set. Surfing conditions were clean as a whistle with the wind blowing straight off shore.
Tidal information for the second last day of the year had a 0.2mtr Low @ 7.30AM and then flooding back in with a 2.1mtr High around the 1.30PM mark.
Weather wise we ended up with a mainly cloudy day with some intensely hot sunny patches when the sun did pop out.
Ok a big big thank you to all of you guys and girls from all corners of the World who have been staying in touch with Bali through baliwaves.com. We would like to wish everyone a bigger and better year in 2012, as that’s what we are going to be aiming for with Bali’s premier surfing website.
Holiday time has hit the roads again here in Bali with plenty of slow moving traffic all around the Kuta to Seminyak area. Be prepared as it will remain with us until after the New Year has well and truelly passed.
