****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (’99) to see what the boys and girls have been up today here on the World famous surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well to kick off the day anyone who was tuned into my “twitter” surf up dates would have already known that the wind was up early out of the West and pretty well blown out here along Bali’s West Coast (@ 6.30AM).
So we just took our time before heading back over to Serangan around the 2.00PM mark. Just as we were driving in we passed at least 3 surf schools driving out, perfect timing we thought. There was also a little bit more energy in today’s surf with the bigger sets peeling off in the well over head region. As it shows in today’s photo gallery, oh yeah and I also through in a collage of photos taken around Bali last week, just for some contrast.
Tidal info for today had a 2.3mtr High at 11.00AM and then running out for a 0.4mtr Low around 5.00PM.
Weather wise another mostly cloudy day with some patches of sunshine through out the afternoon. Temperature wise right now at 7.00PM we have 27 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 89%. Wind direction is coming out of the West @ 13 – 15knot.
Ok then that’s about me for now, and I’m not sure where we will be heading to tomorrow but we will be out on location again, somewhere.
Here’s a good tip for any of you surfers wanting to stay comfortably and very close to Bali’s Premier surfing arena of Uluwatu. Just make sure you check out the famous “Gecko Inn” virtually right on the turn off into Ulu. Or even easier just check out the Gecko Inn via their banner promotion right here on the baliwaves.com
