****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This morning the wind was still coming fresh out of the West but at least the rain had stopped, yesterday it pretty well rained all day. Wave height on the Outer Reefs was showing at a messy on shore wind affected waist to shoulder high. But with a slight bump in wave height expected to show on the East Coast we took a run over to Serangan.
As you can see in today’s 50 strong photo gallery (Cannon 7D + 300mm +x1.4) Serangan was cranking. Wave height on the bigger set waves was an easy double head high with the right handers lining up perfect. Only around 25 serious surfers in the line up with the surf schools only starting to arrive as we were packing up at 2.00PM. Great conditions for a learner on a soft top…..
Tidal info for today had us down for a 1.5mtr High @ 8.00AM and then running out for a no range 1.1mtr Low around the 1.30PM mark.
Weather wise it’s been mainly overcast all day the midday top temperature of 29 degree’s Celsius. Now @ 8.00PM it’s starting to rain again and cool things down for a good nights sleep.
