****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (’99) for today’s run down on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well this mornings surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing pretty much the same as yesterday, but if anything maybe a touch smaller. Around the waist to chest high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, with Middle Reef picking up the bigger waves. Surfing conditions at 6.45AM were clean as a whistle with the wind light off shore out of the East.
We thought we’d better head back down to Uluwatu for another session, and as it shows there were a few coming through on the Main Peak and Temple sections in the waist to head high sector and maybe the occasional slightly taller one. By 9.30AM the SE off shore Trade wind was already hitting gusts into the 12-15knot+.
Today’s sms surf report from G-Land thanks to our friends at the G-Land Surf Camp was also calling wave height to be breaking in the waist to head high class. With 2 surfers in the water at Kongs getting some fun waves. And don’t forget if you want to get over to the legendary location drop us a line and we’ll get you a 15% discount at the G-Land Surf Camp (and maybe even an up grade in your package as well)
Tidal information for today had a 0.8mtr Low @ 8.00AM and then running back in to a 2.2mtr High around 2.00PM.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly warm and sunny day with the odd cloud passing through. Temperature wise right now the mercury is sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius, wind is SE @ 18knot. Sunrise was @ 6.22AM and sets @ 6.18PM.
Ok have a good one what ever you’ve got on, call in again tomorrow if you want to be in the know as we’ll keep it coming all weekend.
