****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome to the weekend on the baliwaves (’99) for pretty well non stop surf reports and photos all through it. Where from ? from here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well how was some of those photos from Padang Padang I finally finished editing and loaded by around 5.00AM (Bali time) this morning. Not your all time perfect day at Padang Padang but all the same there were some hollow ones coming through and plenty of test pilots out there to ride em. Wave height was averaging in the 4-5ft range with the bigger sets pushing 6-6ft+.
This mornings 6.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing some nice sized waves in the head to double head high plus sector breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports. Our crew chose KR wwhile the tide was running in and the SE Trade wind blowing off shore wind up to 10knot. There was only around 8 other surfers out when we arrived, but within another hour or so there would have been close to 30 spread along the reef.
Today’s news from G-Land (6.30AM) thanks to “Tin” and the G-Land Surf Camp goes like this “Good morning everyone, wave height has dropped off a little but still some very solid ones in the 6-8ft range. Lining up a lot better today and a big chance of some nice waves as the day slowly goes on here in the Jungle.
Tidal info for today had a 2.5mtr High @ 11.00AM and then draining off the reef for one of those reef exposing 0.1mtr Lows.
Weather wise just some more warm to hot & sunny vacation type stuff I guess. Top temperature of around the 33 degree Celsius mark.
