****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves (since ’99) for the latest information your going to find on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar, Bali.
This mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking a little more positive. Wave height had a little more kick and consistency showing in the chest to head high sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There were already a few surfers in the water on Middle Reef (tide still dropping at the time), and both Kuta Reef and Airport Left will have some fun waves as the tide turns and starts it’s run back in.
Ketut is already down on location (with camera equipment) at Bali’s premier surfing location, Uluwatu. He has phoned through to tell of waves in the head to well over head range peeling off down along the low tide section of the Racetrack. So no doubt about it, we’ll have a whole bunce of new surfing photos to show ya’s later this afternoon.
Today’s text / sms G-Land surf report from our friends at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to have crept up into the head to almost double head high class. At 7.45AM (Java Time) there were 2 lone surfers on Kongs. As the tide starts to run back in there will be plenty of long lines peeling off from Money Tree’s. Maybe even some Launching Pad waves late this afternoon. Want some uncrowded G-Land Perfection with a 15% discount ? Drop us a line here at baliwaves and you’ve got it !
Surfing conditions here in Bali and G-land this morning are faultless with a light off shore win that will only develop into our beloved Tradewind by late morning.
Tidal information for today has a 0.9mtr Low @ 9.00AM and then running back for a 2.0mtr High around the 3.00PM mark.
Weather wise this morning we have already had a quick rain shower around 8.00AM but now @ 9.15AM we have a mainly clear sky with just a couple of clouds breezing about. The outside temperature is currently sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 84%. Wind direction is ENE @ 1-2knot. Sunrise 6.22AM / Sunset 6.17PM.
Later today some lucky people / baliwaves support crew are going to be winning some nifty stuff. All tickets in our “new camera appeal” have been issued and the draw ready to go. I’ll just be waiting for our new guests (independents) to arrive later this afternoon to draw the tickets out of my hat.
