****AFTERNOON SURF REPORT****
Hello again everyone and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com, Bali’s first and still No.1 daily surf and weather report website since 1999. Lets face it with over 100,000 viewers per month we must be doing something right, right. From right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Yesterday afternoons sunset surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a fast fading swell with wave height only just in the waist to waist high plus sector. This mornings surf check was looking slightly smaller again. But at 6.30AM the big difference was that the wind was only a light and very clean Easterly off shore wind.
So this current photo gallery was delivered to us late last night from our friends at ESP (Ego Surf Photography) located down right in front of the mechanical wave of Bingin. We can expect to be seeingĀ a lot more material from these guys, when ever Bingin is cranking.
I’ve also had a couple of heads up from the team at the G-Land Surf Camp over at the legendary wave of G-Land calling wave height early this morning to be still holding in the head to slightly over head class. That was at 7.00AM Bali time, since then they have called it still a very clean and very fun chest to head high peeling off on Kong’s and Money Tree’s. More good news is that right at this very moment there are 100+ photos in transit to us, so as soon as I get my hands on them I’ll load em up for everyone to have a Cpt Cook. Drop us a line if you want to save some bucks.
Aaron from the Columbia Apartments located right on the Super Bank / Queensland, Australia is still up in position at Balian. With this mornings surf check calling wave height to be still holding in the head to over head class on the A frame peak. The strong Trade wind that has been blowing the last few days has been spoiling conditions by 9.00AM. How ever the early bird has been scoring the worm, so to speak.
Plus if you like you can always open on the Impossible’s surf cam and still see a few small lines bending into the reef.
Today’s Tidal information has a 2.6mtr High @ 10.00Am and then draining off for a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low around the 5.00PM mark.
Weather wise we have more of that classic holiday weather people dream of. Blue sky and sunshine, currently right now at 2.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on a warm 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level at 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the East with gusts up to 17knot.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning (pending Huey), see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost.
