****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
By the time Ketut got back home yesterday afternoon it was getting a bit late and I had gotten myself side tracked. But here they are, around 95 or so sick tube rides from Uluwatu’s racetrack section thanks to Ketut.
This mornings 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban had wave height backing off a little bit, down into the waist to chest high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time the tide was still low enough for Middle Reef to have a few smallies. As the tide is pushing in for a 2.4mtr High at 10.36Am I don’t think there’s going to be too much happening out there again until after midday. The next Low tide will be 0.2mtr’s around 5.12PM
Surfing conditions were testy with the SE off shore Tradewind blowing hard all night and still gusting up to 18knot at times.
Ketut has taken an easy option surf photo shoot for us this morning. He cruised up to Legian to see how the beach breaks around the Padma St area are looking. So we’ll give ya’s a look at those this after lunch.
Weather wise it’s another grey and windy winters day here in Bali this morning. Temperature wise right now at 9.45AM the mercury is sitting on 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 84%. Hopefully we’ll see some patches of sun through out the day.
