****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (since 1999) and the very latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the with out a doubt best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar, BALI.
This mornings mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still hanging around, but fading down into the waist to chest high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There was also the occasional slightly bigger set hitting Middle Reef as the tide was starting to roll in. We didn’t get out to shoot any new photos today but hopefully there’s be a little more swell hitting Bali by tomorrow so we’ll be all over that for ya’s.
In the mean time I have loaded a bunch of photos for the Bodyboarding sector that were shot all over the island through the month of May. So only go there if your into that kinda thing. I also managed to get loaded the best of the beach girls photos that we managed to capture sunning themselves here on the holiday island. You will find these beauties in our Readers Report page.
This mornings G-land Surf Report courtesy of our good friends over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling in wave height to be still hitting Kongs and down through Money Tree’s in the semi solid head to well over head class. No surfers in the water at the time of this report (7.00AM) they’d be just chilling out and waiting for the Trade wind to start doing it;s thing. Still low numbers in camp, so if your keen drop us a line here at baliwaves.com and we’ll get you a cash back discount into your pocket, only at the G-Land Surf Camp.
Today’s Tidal info had a 2.6mtr High at 11.00AM and will then be bottoming out for another 0.1mtr reef exposing low around 5.30PM.
Weather wise here in Bali it’s been another absolutely perfect day to be here on holidays. Nothing but a full blue sky and no clouds in sight. Temperature wise right now at 1,45PM the mercury is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 75%. Wind direction is now coming out of the East at 8-12knot.
Don’t forget to keep supporting our advertisers either ok, because that’s what keeps baliwaves a free to view website. Thanks again !!!
Travel Tips:
1/ Ok boys and girls, mums and dads, this is the most important thing you need to remember when your here in Bali. Dengue Fever is a reality and spread by mosquitoes, it’s virus so you can’t take a tablet to prevent it. Here in Bali it has no discrimination as to who will fall victim. So make sure you have insect repellent with you pretty much all the time from those early morning hours and late afternoon when mozzie’s are out looking for a feed of your blood.
2/ This one is more for the boys and girls, riding motor bikes is fun right. But having a motor cycle accident is certainly not, especially when your on holidays. If you don’t ride a bike at home and if you don’t have a license stay away from them. Lately I’ve seen so many fools gassing around on them with absolutely no idea of whats going on around them it is NOT funny. Have you ever seen a hard core cycilist riding around in bare feet, no shirt or helmet ? Why ? Falling off a bike while your doing 35kmh won’t kill you (not every time anyway), but being run over by the car behind or, on coming bloody well will ! Don’t be a tight arse, get a driver and travel in style.
