****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for kicking off your week with a visit to the baliwaves.com (since ’99) for the latest news and photos of today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the only place worth spending your hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollars, BALI.
This mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was again showing a touch more size and consistency. With wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left showing in the waist to head high and the occasional bigger set hitting Middle Reef. The tide was still running in at the time and already around 10 surfers sitting out at Kuta Reef. Middle Reef also looked to have a solid crew on it early. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with only a slight trace of off shore wind coming out of the East.
As today’s photo gallery gives it away, Ketut hit the road for Canggu with the camera equipment, arriving around 7.45AM. Super clean surfing conditions with wave height in the waist to over head class. Already a dozen surfers on the sand bar and 20 more were riding the right hander at the river mouth, also a few more on the left hand reef down in front of the cafe’s.
I also had a phone in report from Lewie who was surfing down at Balangan on Bali’s bikit peninsular. Lewie reckoned there were some nice waves coming through ranging in the shoulder to over head range with a straight off shore wind.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to David over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to have jumped up into the head to double head high and the occasional bigger freaky. Unfortunately for us but their internet connection is playing up but at the very latest w should have some new material from the G-Land Surf Camp by tomorrow evening. If your interested in getting some G-Land Experience just contact us on this link and we’ll set you up at the G-Land Surf Camp with a solid discount. If you aren’t going then stay tuned here on the baliwaves as we’ll be delivering all the photos you can handle.
The next tide today will be a 1.8mtr High at 9.00PM
Weather wise it’s been a great start to our surfing week here in Bali with pretty well non stop blue sky and sunshine. Currently outside right now at 3.00PM the outside temperature is a warm 28 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity level on 64%. Wind direction is coming out of the East at 10 – 16knot.
Ok crew stay tuned because the surf action is going to be getting pretty warm this week as well.
