****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello again and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (since 1999) and another weekend full of waves coming our way here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
This mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still looking good with chest to over head waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was just coming off the bottom of the Low so Middle Reef was the only option at the time. But I’m also sure there would have been some fun sized waves happening on KR and AL as the tide started to push up. Surfing conditions were as clean and tidy with the wind blowing straight off shore out of the SE @ 6-10knot.
But seeing as though we had such a good day yesterday we decided to head back to Balangan. And just like yesterday there was only a lazy dozen or so surfers in the water when we arrived at 8.45AM. As usual breaking to fast, but, if you picked the right wave they were peeling off for 150yrds. We packed up around 2.30PM with the number of surfers at 45. There was still some nice one’s coming through with the rapidly dropping tide. But, we wanted to beat the afternoon traffic, get home and get ready for the baliwaves bowling night.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to Dave over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling in wave height peeling off from Money Tree’s down to the Pad in the solid head to almost double head high range. At 7.30AM there were only 5 surfers in the water and with the tide coming in it was only going to be getting better and better.
Just contact us here at baliwaves if you would like to try the G-Land experience and get yourself a solid discount off any advertised package at the G-Land Surf Camp.
Weather wise it’s been a Bali Holiday classic with pretty much nothing less than blue sky all day.
