****AFTERNOON SURF UPDATE****
Howdy folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s first surfing website since 1999) for today’s round up on surfing and weather conditions from here on everybody’s favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Well as I mentioned in this mornings Twitter report wave height was showing in the 3-5ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But by the time the tide started to push back in and we were out at Kuta Reef wave height was more like 3-6ft on the Outer’s, with Kuta Reef just about maxing out on the set waves. Surfing conditions out there were very testing with a howling off shore easterly gusting into the 20knot class. Not too mention some very tricky, rock n roll conditions for me trying to pull manual focus.
Weather wise we had a mixed bag here in Tuban, kicking off with a clear blue sky then some brief rain by mid morning. Rounding off the day with a warm a sunny afternoon. Temperature wise the mercury woulda topped out at 31 degree’s Celsius.
Today’s G-Land surf report thanks to our mates over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling in more solid waves for the boys in Camp. Wave height still smashing through in the double to triple head high division. Hopefully Dave will be sending us some more photos to check out later this evening.
With low numbers in the surf camp and plenty of swell heading our way how does a 15% discount off any advertised G-Land surfing package plus an accommodation up grade sound, you’d have to be seriously considering getting over there, wouldn’t you ! Check out their packages at www.g-landsurfcamp.com and then contact & confirm it with us and the deal is there.
