****AFTERNOON SURF UPDATE****
Hi crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surfing website since 1999) for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Starting off this morning with a 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban to find wave height to have backed off a little more here on Bali’s West side. The tide was just about on the bottom of the low at the time so Middle Reef was the only option. And there did look to be at least 20 surfers out there. Surfing conditions were clean as it gets with the SE off shore Trade wind already blowing at 8-10knot.
As it shows in our current photo gallery I snapped off we hung out for an extra cuppa before making our way out to Kuta Reef. KR was smaller than Middle’s but still some clean and fun sized waist to head high action. Tuban local surfers Yuki and Sima turned up after awhile and put on a good show of high performance surfing. But by this time the off shore wind was cranking up to 18knot so the boys didn’t last too long, too cold !
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.4mtr Low @ 6.50PM.
Weather wise here in Tuban we’ve had another hot and sunny one, perfect beach / holiday weather. Currently right now at 4.30PM the outside temperature is still a warm 27 degree’s Celsius with the humidity @ 70%. Wind direction is still from the SE @ 15-18knot.
