****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Howdy surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (Bali’s first and still No.1 surf report website since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Sunday morning saw Ketut and I back in our old traditional double outrigger boat chasing schools of GT’s. From Airport Left to Canggu wave height was pretty much in the micro range with 1-2ft+ waves and howling ESE Trade wind gusting up to 25knot+ at times. But there did look to be a few fun sized waves breaking up along the legian to Seminyak beach breaks. I’d say you could have also found a wave or two down at Bali’s premier wave magnet location of Uluwatu.
But anyway you guys and gals were probably checking out the baliwaves surf cam for your own view of Impossible’s, right, as I mentioned on yesterdays “twitter” up dates.
Right now at 6.00AM the sun is just starting to poke it’s face over the eastern horizon and I’m pretty sure the waves are going to be pretty much the same size as yesterday, small but fun. Ketut and I are back out in the boat as soon as I get this on line and I will resurrect our old fishing page later this evening and give you all a look at what we have been getting up to.
Tide wise we have just passed through a 0.1 reef exposing low at 5.33AM and the next High will be 2.5mtr’s at 11.17AM.
Weather wise we’ve got some more cloud rolling over at the moment which has been the norm for the last couple of weeks. But all in all it’ll just end up being another hot and mainly sunny day here on the holiday island of BALI.
Davey from the G-Land Surf Camp has also sent us over another nice photo collection from the ever famous surfing location of G-Land (East Java) and they will also be appearing later this afternoon. So stay stoked right here on the baliwaves.com
As I also predicted a couple of reports back the domestic holiday traffic is starting to arrive in force to Bali, so if your riding or driving take a little extra care and try and be a little extra patient ok, Oh yeah and maybe even allow for a little extra road time.
Ok then folks have a good one and make sure ya check in again later this evening.
