****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (delivering the goods since 1999) for today’s Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Another early pre dawn start for the boys and I this morning with our minds set on beating the wind and the majority of Saturday night revelers. Bali’s premier surfing location was our target and Uluwatu is her name.
Arriving at Bali’s southern peninsular around 6.45Am to find wave height in the 2-4ft class (chest to well over head) breaking on the top of the Racetrack and Main Peak sections. Crowd wise we did it again with only something like under 20 surfers already in the water. Surfing conditions were super clean and oily looking with just a slight tinge of off shore wind. There were also a few nice lines peeling off through the Temple section as the tide pushed up. It wasn’t until 11.30Am that the wind started to vary to all points of the compass, but still remaining light and managable.
I just took a look at the baliwaves.com Impossible’s (free) surf cam it’s showing a super dry reef with 1-2ft+ waves breaking. It also shows a now clean off shore SE wind on it.
Weather wise today, hot and sunny. Currently right now at 5.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius, humidity level is at 70%. Wind direction is SE at 12-14knot.
Today’s G-Land surf report thanks to Davey over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling very ordinary conditions this morning. Wave height was hitting Kongs and the top end of Money Tree’s in the chest to slightly over head range. Davey has also sent us over another photo gallery and full surf report so I’ll get those on line for ya’s ASAP.
