****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report website since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Just for the record and bring everyone up to scratch on this thing called the internet. Baliwaves.com was in fact the first surfing website, if not the first actual website to feature Bali. There may have been 1 or 2 Bali forum type sites but nothing like an actual website. Currently this year there are over 600,000,000. websites that feature Bali globally. Not too mention all the guide type books written in just about every language possible.
Alrighty then this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a considerable drop in wave height. Definitely not flat by any means with still some solid waves ranging in the head to well over head high class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right. Surfing conditions were reasonably clean with the wind coming lightly out of the NNW at 3-6knot. Quite a few surfers out on all sections of the Outers by this time as well.
As it shows in today’s photo gallery as we are always trying to show you as many of Bali’s different locations as possible. Ketut loaded up the camera equipment and headed up the coast 40 minutes to Canggu. The wind was also light onshore by the time he arrived but surfing conditions and the waves were still good enough. Around 15 surfers on the right hand river mouth and another 10 or so riding the left hand sand bar.
The Low tide has just passed here in Bali and the next High will be 2.1mtr’s at 8.17PM.
Weather wise right now and the outside temperature is ciurrently a warm 30 degree’s Celsius with the humidity level at 62%. Wind direction is now coming out of the SE at 8-11knot.
Ok that’s us for today, and we hope you’ve had a good one where ever you are. Well be back out there again tomorrow from maybe another different location so stay stoked right here on your baliwaves. I’ve also loaded up a fresh G-Land photo gallery and surf report thanks to Davo. Plus there’s another new surf up date and photo from Ray up in the Mentawai islands, so check em out before ya shut it down.
