****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (Bali’s best since 1999) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
First off yesterday we ended up surfing over at Serangan on Bali’s East coast. Mainly due to the fact of surfing conditions and a strong SSW wind, Serangan being pretty well the most protected. Wave height was a solid 6-7ft+ or easily triple head high plus and only around 10 other surfers in the water. Nothing fancy but there were some ridable right handers peeling off through the middle of the beach.
This morning we were up early before the wind had a chance to kick in and heading back over to the East side again, as you can easily tell Keramas was our destination. But we weren’t the only one’s with this plan that’s for sure (maybe 20yrs ago Keramas was a little know location by just a few, but not for a long time now). But anyway there were around 20+ surfers already in the water with wave height in the 3-5ft class with a clean off shore wind on it. Pretty well perfect on the main break and out the front of the car park as well.
We hung out for 2 sessions and by 1.30PM we were the only surfers left in the area.
Weather wise we had nothing but blue sky and sunshine all day here on the holiday island with a midday top temperature of at least 30 degree’s Celsius. Just before sunset this evening the wind did switch back to the SE and off shore here on Bali’s premier coastline. I just hope she holds for us tomorrow !

This mornings G-Land Surf Report thanks to Davey at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling in wave height to be in the shoulder to head high plus region with clean and glassy surfing conditions. Only 10 surfers in the water at 8.00AM.
