****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report website since 1999) for another round of surfing and weather information from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
It was still dark when I pulled out of the drive way this morning so no chance for an optical on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. I did know thanks to stormsurf.com that wave height would be slightly smaller again, so we headed south down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving around 6.30AM to find wave height here still in the head to well over head range, with clean and glassy surfing conditions. Even though the wind was on shore, light and variable.
The Main Peak had a total of 10 surfers at first and another handful up riding the Temple section. But by 9.00Am there would have easily been 70 surfers on the Peak and another 20 on Temple’s, it was also the top of the tide by then. Driving home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s we could see from the bridge that there was only the odd 1-2 footer breaking on Impossible’s and a safe bet to call Padang Padang flat.
The next tide today here in bali is going to be a 0.4mtr Low at 2.25PM.
Weather wise it hasn’t been the best day for sun baking. Mainly cloudy and over cast with the odd sunny break down on the bukit. But there were a few rain drops on the wind shield driving home and another couple of light showers since then, Temperature wise right now at 1.20PM we have 26 degree’s Celsius with the humidity at 69%.
Davey called through from the G-land Surf Camp early this morning calling in clean and tidy waves hitting Money Tree’s in the chest to well over head class and only 5 surfers in the water at the time.
