****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s first surfing website since 1999) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok things are not looking the best out there today, this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height to be a very meager 1-1ft+ between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions how ever were pretty much faultless with a clean off shore SE wind. There were a few surfers out on Middle Reef and why not I guess it’s always good to get wet.
What I have done though (due to a bad internet connection last night) is load up a quick gallery that Ketut and Davey snapped off up at the running of yesterdays OAKLEY WORLD PRO JUNIOR that saw the running of some of the guys and girls heats before called off due to conditions deteriorating. Just for now the event managers are calling a lay day for today and tomorrow while the swell is down and hoping for a recommencement to re start on Wednesday morning at Kerams. So if your in town at the moment and want to see the Worlds highest ranked juniors battling it out for some big prize money make sure you turn up.
Weather wise here in Bali today we got off to an overcast start but by mid morning it’s nothing but blue sky around this part of the island. Currently outside the temperature is sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius (12.30PM) with the humidity on 77%. Wind direction is out of the WNW at 5-8knot.

Taco Lovers !
Hey Slim, we are at La Libre, 820 jalan raya Semer, right in front of Bali Buddha on the way to Canggu. Just say to mention the Baliwaves special and they get 3 tacos instead of 2 per plate and it’s already a surfer worthy portion. Thanks for the help and keep up the great work on your website. Cheers Jim
