BALI
25th November
Hi folks and welcome back again to the baliwaves (keeping the Bali surf reports flowing since 1999) for the start of another weekend of waves here on the best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar of BALI.
This morning we decided to head back over to Bali’s East Coast to see what was happening up at Keramas. Arriving around 7.30 just as the tide was just moving past the top end to see some clean little waves breaking on both the main break and also right in front of the car park warung. There was 14 surfers on the cra park and only 9 riders on the main break so the latter it was. Surfing conditions were glassy and smooth lasting through until 9.30AM. The crowd pretty much stayed the same as well.
Weather wise it was smoking hot over on the black sanded beach and mostly blue sky through out the morning and midday. Right now at 5.30PM the sky has vlouded over and we might see a few drops of rain tonight. Temperature wise the mercury is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius, humidity is on 80%. Wind direction is now coming out of the NNE at 2-3knot.
Hopefully if the swell prediction charts are on track tomorrow should see some better size and quality waves around Bali. So make sure you stay tuned in for our Sunday session.

Ok just to re confirm my actions yesterday after the seaquake we felt here in Bali yesterday. Well taking my family and friends to higher ground yesterday was just something any family man with kids would or should do. It wasn’t a “hassle to organize” it was relief to know that if worst come to worst my kids would be safe. Thank God nothing did happen.
Schoolies week up date: we’ll I have say the vacationers I’ve seen this week have been pretty well behaved, well done.
Traffic up date, with all the new road and airport and building projects going on and not too mention the amount of Javanese domestic tourists and construction workiers flowing into Bali, then add a million taxi’s on the road the traffic has been bull shit to say the least. So if your here and on the road just take your time and be patient and hopefully it will get back to normal soon.
