BALI
21st November 2012
Hi folks and thanks for stoipping by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report since back in 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the real deal tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This morning there wasn’t time for a morning surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. All I knew was that the waves were still going to be small, the tide was dropping and the wind was light out of the North. So by 5.30AM the boys and I were bee lining for the East Coast of Bali.
Arriving at our destination by 6.15AM to find wave height in the waist to shoulder high range with the occasional bigger freak set and only 2 other surfers in the water. Who said Bali is too crowded these days ? How ever there were a few other surfers turn up through the morning and I think at one stage there were 12 surfers out. When we packed up at 12 noon there were still only a handful of surfers left but by that time the wind was getting up out of the S-SW.
Weather wise we had a mixed bag with an early morning clear sky and sun shine turning to crap on the way home with some heavy rain from Sanur all the way back to Kuta. Here in Tuban no rain had fell.
Ok You may notice that Troy has been working hard day and night to sort out the problems we have had with our photo gallery. So now we have a new style of gallery and we will be implementing it onto all the different report pages. You can just use the play slide show button or still click through yourself.
Ok folks it’s been a long for me so I’m signing out but more than likely we’ll be back out there on the wave hunt again tomorrow. So keep that Bali stoke alive and kickin right here on the baliwaves.com.
Just a heads up I have loaded a filthy photo gallery from my good friend Wavey Dave Tinson who is also a proffessional photpgrapher and has spent around 6 months in G-Land this year shooting the famous long left hander. It’s in our Readers Report so make sure you do yourself a ffavor and check it out.
Traffic up date, with all the new road and airport and building projects going on and not too mention the amount of Javenese tourists and construction workiers flowing into Bali, then add a million taxi’s on the road the traffic has been bull shit to say the least. So if your here and on the road just take your time and be patient and hopefully it will get back to normal soon.

I think it’s “Aussie schoolies week” starting up here soon in Bali so be prepared for drunk teenagers in the streets of Kuta, zapping around on motorbikes and generally out of control.

Feel free to contact us via email about your next trip to Bali and we might just be able to help make it run a little smoother for you.
