BALI
30th November 2012
Hi folks and thanks for hanging around the baliwaves.com (The original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and best views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so this mornings first surf check (6.30AM) on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing a little more wave movement. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport left was a more consistent 2-3ft+ breaking betweek Kuta reef and Airport Left. Then when we checked again at midday she was more like 3-4ft+. Surfing conditions early were clean and glassy with a light Northerly wind at 2 knot. Then around 9.30AM it switched to a more desirable E-ESE and off shore between Kuta and Uluwatu.
So just for something different and a change in locations I got Ketut to take a run down to the Bukit and see what was going down at Bingin. As it shows Bingin was breaking in it’s usual mechanical form. But with the bigger set waves almost maxing out. Crowd wise there was between 15 to 20 surfers in the water while Ketut was on the scene.
More waves and clean wind predicted again for Saturday so if you get time over the weekend make sure you stay tuned to the baliwaves.com
Weather wise we got off to a great start with clear blue sky. By midday the temperature would have been in the low to mid 30’s on the Celsius scale. Then by mid afternoon it become more over cast and the chance or rain and thunder storm somewhere here in Bali.
