Hello folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and absolute best views of today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so we put in another big one today, first we got the show on the road with a 6.45AM surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left had dropped down into the 2-3ft+ region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly out of the N-NW. Not too many surfers out there at the time with the local boat crew all getting ready for our big ceremony tomorrow night on the full moon, so no reef taxi’s available. But those who did paddle out would have been having a ball.
From there we headed south for a headland view of Balangan. Wave height there was even smaller with 2-3 footers breaking on the point and around 30 surfers on it. By that time the wind was still showing NNW.
Our final destination was Uluwatu and as it shows in today’s 52 strong photo gallery was once again cranking down at Bali’s premier surfing location. Wave height on the bigger set waves was pretty pushing the double head high class with the wind slowly shifting towards the SSE quadrant. Only 30 surfers spread from the top of the Peak down through the Racetrack on arrival at 9.00AM. But the numbers did spike towards midday.
Weather wise down on the Bukit it was all blue sky and sunshine today with a top temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius. Right now at 5.30PM there looks and sounds like there’s a half decent thunder storm happening to the North West of Kuta and we might even get a few drops of rain here later tonight.
Ok folks have a good one and stay tuned to the baliwaves to keep that Bali stoke burning.
