Bali
27th December 2012
Hello everyone and thanks again fro droppin into the baliwaves.com (delivering since 1999) for the latest news and best views from here on the “always a wave happening somewhere” tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This mornings conditions once again dictated to us that Canggu was the best option for an early morning paddle so we went with the flow. Arriving around 6.45AM to feel a clean off shore wind and see a few waist to head high sets breaking on all 3 of the main surfing sections. There may have been a few bigger freak sets but not a helluva lot of em. But all in all there were some nice shaped fun sized waves.
Weather wise it’s been mainly overcast with the odd sunny patch, and man, when she did bust through she was pretty hot. Right now at 4.40PM (that’s right I’ve been going for 12hrs at this point, normal day for the baliwaves) the outside temperature is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius and looking like we might get a little (or a lot) afternoon / evening rain. Wind direction is fresh outta the West up to 11knot with some stronger gusts.
Traffic, traffic and more traffic is what your going to be finding driving anywhere between Seminyak through to Kuta in town. And just as bad out on the main highway out the back of Kuta where the new underpass is being worked on. Yep it’s that time of the year when half of Java decide’s to drive to Bali and do laps…
Ok I’ll be back out in the traffic again tomorrow making sure my crew get the best waves we can so if ya got the time call in again tomorrow for the latest from good old Bali.
